rain Rain RAin RAIn RAIN

“Life’s not about waiting for the storms to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” -Vivian Greene

The last time that I can remember literally dancing in the rain was when I was somewhere around the age of 11-13 years old.  I was at a friend’s house, it was pouring down rain and we went outside and into the street and literally danced!  It was fun, but this quote means so much more than doing the jive in wet precipitation.  In the midst of whatever situation you can call your storm are you able to give thanks?  Find contentment?  Have peace?  Rejoice?  Rest?  Be joyful?  Have hope?

If you live in the Mid-South then you know the inspiration behind this.  If you don’t live in the Mid-South you’ve probably heard about the record rainfall we have had in the last couple of days.  I am very grateful for God’s provision for us and protection of our home.

That is such an inspirational quote :) I love love love it! I’m glad the rain is gone for now. I’m hoping the levee won’t break. The pictures and videos of all the flooding is insane. God surely has my full attention.
