The Best Is Yet To Be

29 May

Today I’m celebrating nine years of marriage to my favorite person ever!

P1060754

Here we are just after our wedding, getting ready to head out on our honeymoon.  We were so very happy in that moment and we thought life just couldn’t get any better.  We were so wrong.  The best was yet to be…

Nine years later, by the grace of God, we are so much more than just happy.  We are sure, steady, faithful, unconditional, hopeful, forgiving, loving, at peace, kind, tender hearted, patient, joyful and constantly being made new.  I said this last year on our anniversary and I’ll say it again and again and again.  Our marriage isn’t perfect, but it is so perfect for us.  We thank God often that He made us for each other and in His timing brought us together in India, and that now we can rest in knowing that our marriage was put together by Him.

And now, nine years later we know that the best is yet to be…as we await the arrival of our long awaited baby.

I love you, David!
